Internship - Investment Team (HK Office)

Responsibilities

• Assist Portfolio Managers in research and analysis of investment ideas
• Research process involved is generally a combination of systematic and discretionary work
• Participate in the process of data collection, cleaning, extraction, presentation, and visualization
• Show initiative, engage with analysts, and salespersons from the bank and broker community
• Pitch trading ideas to various Portfolio Managers on the investment team

Qualifications

• Education: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or above in finance, financial engineering, mathematics, computer science, data science, or related majors
• Language: Fluent in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus
• Proficiency in Python and/or R
• Working knowledge of SQL is a plus
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-paced environment 
• Sharp insights and logical thinking with a naturally inquisitive and curious mindset
